About US
The Universal Service and Access Fund (USAF) or the Fund, is a development oriented government entity established in accordance with provisions of the South Sudan National Communication Act, 2012.
The Principal mandate of the Fund is to focus the attention of communication operators towards rural population and encourage expanded levels of communication penetration in rural, remote and under-served areas.
The Notice
In response to this mandate, the Fund wishes to engage a competent Mobile Network Operator (MNO) or a consortium of licensed companies in partnership with at least one of the existing MNOs to install Base Transceiver Stations (BTSs) in four (4) selected unserved areas.
The terms of reference for this project can be obtained from the Fund’s web site: www.usaf.gov.ss/ or from the Fund Secretariat, located North West of the Post Office Building, Block No. EV, Plot 1 – 6, Market Street, Juba.
Interested applicants MUST submit their application as per the terms of reference. The closing date for submissions is Sunday, 22nd Nov. 2020 at 4:59 PM (GMT +3). The Fund cannot answer any queries to this RFP five (5) days or less prior to the submission deadline.
The Fund reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal.
